Drying tunnels are in-line machines for the removal of surface water from the package after the shrink, immersion or rain process. Once the product has been heat-shrunk, it automatically enters the drying tunnel where a series of high-speed air jets at room temperature hit it both above and below, thus eliminating residual water on the entire surface.
In this way, the product is ready for the subsequent processing phases and can be directly labeled without waiting and wasting time.
To ensure maximum efficiency and low energy consumption, the drying chamber is closed and well insulated, avoiding the dispersion of air into the environment.
There are four drying tunnel models in the TA Line, one of which is electromechanical (TA45) and three with electronic management (TA65 – TA85 – TA110) which differ from each other in the width of the loading belt, the dimensions of the drying chamber, the power of the turbine and consequently the production capacity.
The electromechanical control panel for the TA45 tunnel has a 4.7” touch-screen display on the other three models; easy to use, it allows you to store 20 work programs. The entire drying cycle is controlled by a high-speed and precision PLC. It is therefore possible to program the speed of the carpet and therefore the residence time of the product in the drying chamber, sensitive parameters that can be set and / or modified by the operator himself at any time.
The “fan” turbine is usually mounted on the machine but can also be mounted outside the environment in which the machine is installed in order to reduce noise inside the packaging room.
The drying tunnels of the TA Line are ideal for in-line combination downstream respectively of Hyper Conveyor and Conveyor Pro belt vacuum packaging machines and RT or DT shrink tunnels and upstream of the UV sterilization tunnel. The product that comes out of the packaging machine enters directly into the aforementioned tunnels without any intervention by the operator.
Remote adjustment and control interventions are possible by installing the TELESERVICE KIT with router for ETHERNET connection – Industry 4.0
The machine structure is completely in AISI 304 stainless steel and the electrical panel is in IP67 / NEMA 4 insulation class.
Specific use: For a wide variety of food products.
What types of bags? Only for shrink bags in different formats but in specific materials suitable for shrinking, easily manageable by adjusting the intensity of the water temperature as standard on each model.
